Community Support Programs
Vera French Community Support Programs enhance the lives of seriously and persistently mentally ill residents in Scott County who live independently. We work to improve individual quality of life, while providing a broad range of psychosocial support services.- The Case Management Program delivers comprehensive case management services to adults 18 and older. We help people make informed decisions regarding opportunities and services, and coordinate all services to meet individual needs, including access to needed assistance, opportunities for growth, and encouragement for self-help activities.
- The Frontier Community Support Program offers assistance with activities of daily living, including classes in money management, medication management, problem solving, socialization, crisis intervention, shopping, grooming, hygiene skills, and more.
- Job Link assists individuals striving to enter the workforce become successful employees. Employment consultants teach interviewing skills, job-seeking techniques, and other necessary skills needed to gain employment. We also assist individuals in obtaining and maintaining employment.
- The Rummage Closet retail store sells donated items to the public at modest prices. Our store employees gain meaningful workplace experience by building work and social skills. Interaction with the public also helps combat the stigma of mental illness.
